Sony has confirmed a LittleBigPlanet 3 release date of November 18 in US. No exact date has been confirmed for EU regions, but it's typical for games to release in EU on the friday following the US release, which in this case would be November 21. LittleBigPlanet 3 will feature 16 new creation tools, six editing layers - twice the amount featured in previous games - and a refreshed user interface. The game is being co-developed by Sony Xdev and British studio Sumo Digital, which previously worked on ‎Sonic & All-Stars Racing Transformed and LittleBigPlanet 2's cross-controller DLC. It will also include at least three new player-controlled characters to help out series protagonist Sackboy: Oddsock, who can wall jump, Toggle, who can change his size, and Swoop, who can fly. Sackboy has also learned how to climb and will wield new items to manipulate environments.
