Microsoft employees within the Xbox team are set to receive a free Xbox One console on release day – in white. An image was leaked on Reddit by user Kinect10DLL with the heading ‘Xbox One Employee Ship Gift’ that showcases a white Xbox One console along with details of what employee’s will expect to see with their free console. Along with being white in colour, exclusive text is etched to the front of the console – “I made this†and “Launch Team *something*â€. Additionally, according to the list to the left of the image, employees will receive one year of Xbox Live membership, every first party game released to the console, and an exclusive achievement. We’re assuming ’1P’ converts to 1st party, suggesting every game developed by Microsoft will qualify. Source - NextVG
Why would they give those free to their employees? Surely from working for M$ you should be able to afford one on your own. There's people out there (like me) with piss poor jobs bringing in minimum wage who would benefit more from a hand out like this rather than giving it to their own staff.
I think that's a bit unfair. I mean us normal gamers etc will have to pay for this brand new console and Xbox live etc where as if you work for MS you will get a free console which is just unfair.
Don't hate because they're getting free stuff. Some jobs have good Perks some do not. If you don't like the perks you get at your current job, step your Fecal Leaking up and get a new job or a promotion.<br>I think it's really cool they're getting something unique like that. Go MS for taking care of they're people.
all the haters moaning about them getting the cosole etc for free this is a bonus for all the hard work M$ employees have put in to the xbox one. they dont sit there pissing and moaning when you get a christmas bonus from your employer!
I agree with midiandy if you crying about them getting bonuses for working at a job and you don't then maybe its time to work towards a new job. Not being rude but they work for Microsoft which has the money to treat their employees right. My brother works for Microsoft in Redmond for 10 years and in Dallas for 8 years now and he worked his ass off to get there and he loves it. So if you going to take the time to cry about someone having a better job then take the time to work towards a better one yourself. Once again not trying to be rude.
Yep, totally agree... Haters need to stop whining about the things they don't have, and go out and earn them for yourselves... "WAAAAH, I didn't work my butt off I want a FREE xbox too!!" Ever had a christmas bonus from your employers?? STFU
