Its a day before the official Launch of Sony's Playstation 4, and already there are reports of bricked consoles, and dodgy HDMI ports. Once such report is from Arogon, a user of Reddit who has reported that his shiny new PS4 console that he won in a competition. Arogon, a 23 year old guy from Maryland was overjoyed that he had got his hands on his PS4 a day early. When the console arrived Arogon set it up and immediately knew something wasn't right. The console turned on but there was no signal sent to the TV and instead of a white glowing light he was greeted with a Pulsing blue light. Disappointed Arogon got on the phone to Playstation support to try and resolve the issue, but was told they could not help him until the 15th of November, the official launch date of the PS4. Undeterred the 23 year old carried on calling support until someone would help him. He states out of 6 of the support team he spoke, one online and the rest on the phone, only 2 of the PS4 technical support team tried to assist him. Having tried to boot into safe mode and failing it seems that the only other option is a replacement unit. This is still ongoing at the moment and we will keep you updated in this article. This is terrible, The ammount of money these companys have and they can't test there stuff properly, Shocking!
uhm isnt the launch date the 14th? its for sale at walmart and target and futureshop in canada and they did a midnight release for it lol
Its nothing new when new consoles come out. Every time they launch a new console there is always hardware issues so it isnt a surprise that the PS4 is doing the same. But it suckes that Sony is currentyl sitting around while these problems persist, everyone looked at the PS4 and stated it was better while Xbox was shot down and look at it now. True Xbox will have hardware breakdowns later on but at the moment it works and has since launch.
