Two of Ubisoft's big hitters, namely Watch_Dogs and Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag are apparently coming to 'X720' according to the LinkedIn profiles of Ubisoft Game Programmer Paolo Maninetti and Marketing Artist Phil Brolles. Both profiles note that the games are coming to both current and next-gen platforms, as previously confirmed. No great shock there. Maninetti's LinkedIn has Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag tagged for launch on 'X720', while Brolles has the "work in progress for next-generation consoles" Watch_Dogs down for release on 'X720' too. Have the Ubisoft devs given away the name of the next Xbox? Will it in fact be called Xbox 720 after all? Who knows? With Microsoft remaining tight-lipped about the next-gen Xbox, despite innumerable leaks and rumours surfacing on an almost daily basis, it seems somewhat odd that these two Ubi employees would mention the console on their LinkedIn profiles. Watch_Dogs and Assassin's Creed IV have been announced for next-gen consoles, but until now only PS4 has been explicitly listed as a confirmed platform. Could this be further evidence that a reveal for the next Xbox is imminent, or is the rumoured May 21st unveiling date still potentially on the cards? Again, we really don't know. Anyway, look at the two offending LinkedIn pages below as proof. 'X720', see? Source - VG247
