Multiplayer featuring in Tomb Raider for the first time in the franchise's history has been something of a divisive thing amongst fans, which is where this latest episode in the 'Final Hours of Tomb Raider' developer diary series comes in, offering a look behind the scenes at Deus Ex: Human Revolution studio Eidos Montreal, where the online portion of the game is being created. In the video, you'll see Chuck star Zachary Levi interviewing key members of the development team regarding Tomb Raider's multiplayer, while there's a bit of gameplay footage from the various online game modes in which you can set booby traps including lightning rods and explosive ammo boxes. Multiplayer aims to preserve the traversal and survival aspects from the single-player and isn't "a simple add-on" that splits resources according to the dev team. Give the video a watch below. Even if you're dead against multiplayer in Tomb Raider, it's an interesting watch regardless, showing some gameplay, weapons, perks and other multiplayer bits and bobs. It also reveals that Zac Levi will feature in the game as a playable multiplayer character. You can consume some extra MP deets here. Tomb Raider is out on March 5th, 2013. I need this game right now, I miss playing Tombraider and I'm very interested to see what they did you the multi-player aspects of it.
I've never played a Tomb Raider Game ever, Except one bit where I used to lock the butler in the freezer when my brother would leave his PS1 on  But since I got my RGH I will give this a go as I have nothing to lose money wise!
