A few things I need some answers too, any or all answers would be very much appreciated. 1) When I try hacking the inventory more than once the next time I try and load the game save it freezes my xbox. 2) The game save I am uploading : When i tried to load it it froze, note ; sheers were in my inventory (It is still possible to hack the gamesaves even after the patch right?) 3) How can i know what can have something inserted in its slot to not mess up my game save and what cant, theres usually 0-35 even though a persons inventory is 36 slots (im confused) Thats about all I can think of for my common issues.. I read through the FAQ's but couldnt really find a good answer for my # 1 question, I have begun to think you cant hack a gamesave more than once. EDIT : I just tried uploading the game save 3 times, twice as a .bin and once as a .rar So if it doesnt show up here let me know and ill try and attach it some other way its now saying its too big to upload
I myself have modded the inventory several times so that's definitely not the issue, It would be useful if you could upload the save... Could you possibly post what all you had in your inventory at the time? When you add certain things (Like vines, and things that are currently not in this version.) It'll freeze on load up. So it's good to always keep a backup before modding just in case you mess up somewhere. Also, if you stack things that aren't supposed to be stacked in game it can cause freezes or other in game glitches. Before you mod the save, you should put a piece of sand into each slot of your inventory, so you can tell which inventory is yours, because it also shows the inventories of everyone who has joined the game in the past.... Just a suggestion if you hadn't already done that. : )
you can hack a save more than once but the more items you load into the game the bigger the file becomes. And the bigger the files, the more problems you will get when you load the save. Alway back up your saves and dont add too much and/or items that dont exist in the game. What Alayska is all true about everything. most likely you added too many items in and/or have too many items loaded in. Cant say until you post what your list and upload your world so we can check it out
THanks for the help guys. Alayska what you said was the easiest and best advice i've gotten all day.. Just dont stack the **** that cant stack more than the game allows. It works, i've already hacked in like 3 times made a game backup every time and its working. The usual signs im not seeing anymore for it about to freeze and what not. If this will let me send you the file in private message i will. I might have over hacked the game file because i had 4 peoples worth of inventory all with sand.. lol But lets see if i can share this file and you'll hopefully be able to tell me what i did wrong. And the game save im referring to working is my original map that I stopped messin with cause i couldnt hack it anymore. But i did what you said and it works.. Now if only we can fix my other map in the making. EDIT: Ok i found a file uploader that let me share it there. You'll just have to trust me on this because i know a random link is unheard of.. There might be something wrong on my end, but there was nothing in the inventory. In other words no slots even came up... If you can, check if you have any air in your inventory. If you do get rid of that. I'm glad I was able to help you earlier, and I'm sorry I'm unable to do more with the save you uploaded. Good luck! :happy:
