According to a press release sent out from GameStop just now, Zombies are coming to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare as part of the DLC Season. For fans that buy the season pass, you will get access to the zombies that does come to Advanced Warfare.

A secret achievement for Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare has been revealed on many sites today. The achievement is called Exo Survivor, and states that “Successfully complete the Exo Survival Bonus Wave” with an image of zombies. Now, it is important to note that this is part of the Exo-Survival co-op mode, not a different mode.

For players that aren’t really interested and don’t want the exoskeleton abilities in Call of Duty, Sledgehammer Games is bringing a ‘Traditional Playlist’ to Advanced Warfare MP.



This playlist will allow you to play TDM, Domination, Capture The Flag, etc. without the boost jumps, dodge, and all the other new movements, so that players who want to experience the classic Call of Duty, they can do that. This playlist will be a separate playlist in multiplayer.

Zombies? If not zombies than maybe some sort of round based co-op mode. Several fans sent us tips once they saw the new Xbox One Advanced Warfare controller that was announced today. The notches on the controller bare a striking resemblance to round indicator notches on the Zombies H.U.D. and also the Black Ops box art. This is pure speculation right now seeing as how Sledgehammer Games hasn’t revealed their co-op mode yet. It wouldn’t surprise us though seeing as how there are a ton of Black Ops 2 features that made it into Advanced Warfare. We’ll keep you posted if we hear more…

Sledgehammer Games has confirmed that Beachhead Studio is working on bringing Clan Wars to Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare. Beachhead introduced this new feature with Call of Duty: Ghosts.



Clan Wars uses a map in the mobile application in which there are capture points. Each capture point is tied to a certain game mode, and teams must earn wins in that game mode to earn more capture points. Clan Wars are timed period events, featuring many divisions and breakdowns for clans based upon your wins.



Beachhead Studio will provide more information on how Clan Wars will work as we get closer to launch this November. Stay tuned.

Theater Mode is NOT returning in Advanced Warfare



While at the press event last week, Sledgehammer Games was able to confirm that Theater Mode (which was present in Black Ops 1 & 2, and MW3) would not be returning. Not too surprising since Ghosts opted to leave it out also but we were still kind of hoping. The main reason cited (which was what Infinity Ward said last year also) was because current-gen consoles feature built-in recording features.
