i jsut flashed my dg16d4s drive. i installed gta 5 d1 on it and it installed perfect. When i put in disk two to play it played nice. But when i turn my xbox back on to play it says that disk is dirty. I took the disk out and noticed a scratch circular ring to teh end of the disk. what is the problem?
perhaps when flashing youve somehow either knocked the tray casing so it possibly not aling correctly or could you have knocked the console at all when a disc is inserted . what i would reccomend strip it back down remove the magnet from the top casing power on slim eject place in a disc then put magnnet on to hold the disc and let it spin if it appears to be spinning fine the issue maybe a bent casing causing it to somehow throw the tray out of line or the tray draw is not leveled correctly .
its putting a perfect ring around the end of the disk. i did a kamikaze hck on two of my friends drive and its giving rings on the disk. both of em are grand theft auto 5. I never took the tray apart. does the rubber pieces on the chip of the pcb need to be on before putting the cover back on?
