Upload studio, the Xbox One video editor which lets you edit and share your recorded gameplay clips with the Xbox Live community is getting a massive update today according to Major Nelson Via his blog.

Millions of Xbox One videos have been created and shared via the popular Upload Studio on Xbox One since the launch of the console last November and thanks to the community feedback, Upload Studio is about to get a whole lot better.

The new update will allow Xbox One owners to create videos with 15 segments and a run time of 30 minutes, as well as having access to "new transitions, splash screens, templates, intros, double-box and green screen effects."

All of these fantastic new features can now be accessed from within the new Main menu by selecting the 'Start from scratch' option. Xbox One owners can now add up to 15 user generated clips in any order desired to create a video.

You can now create the following segment types:

    Game DVR
    Kinect clips
    Game DVR and Kinect
    Kinect and Game DVR
    Game DVR + Game DVR
    Kinect + Kinect

Each segment has its own effects which are associated with that type, these effects allow you to create a truly unique clip. You can also choose from a pre-built template to create a video with ease.
