Hello everyone, I think Xbox One uses a custom windows 8 os, the 6.2.10210.0.131118-1159, the day one update. I know Windows 8 is 6.2.9200 and Windows 8.1 is 6.3.9600. In the update zip i found thoose files (the date is in italian, the month and the day are inverted) 18/11/2013 22.17 2.334 args.txt 18/11/2013 19.07 41.496.576 host.xvd 18/11/2013 19.03 38.035.456 SettingsTemplate.xvd 18/11/2013 19.07 24.784.896 sosinit.xvd 18/11/2013 19.01 65.040.384 sostmpl.xvd 18/11/2013 19.14 891.490.304 system.xvd 18/11/2013 19.04 280.449.024 systemaux.xvd 18/11/2013 19.28 35.926.016 updater.xvd So I think .xvd files are packages, thei contains the data, and with HxD i saw the string msft-xvd. It's the only string in every xvd. Recently c4eva have dump Call Of Duty Ghosts, and it found package1.xvc. So if we can extract thoose files, i think we'll find a normal Windows OS, like the Windows Phone 8, a normal, but ARM, Windows. Also Xbox One is AMD64, so compatible with every AMD64/Intel64 recent CPU and GPU and we can get it work in a normal PC, while there are drivers problems or others, Windows is really easy to hacking, as a WinPE, it can be a normal Windows installation with some good work. So, Xbox One on a PC. It's strange, but a xbox one sdk home-built will be awesome, no?
thats some good info right there, i know a few people looking into this, any more info you find please do post. see if we can get some full on discussion going! Many thanks!
