So about 2min ago i dropped my cod ghost backup disk and when i start it it doesnt show the image of the game.if i install it will it work because at the moment it starts but it stays in a black screen for like 1min then it says disk unreadable
Have you cleaned off the disc and made sure stuff fell into the drive messing up the laser? Don't see how dropping a disc on the floor would stop it from working. XD Is there a huge scratch on it? Its not going to install if you try to play it and it doesn't load the game.
No its not the laser cause it the disk drive was still closed but were it fell it makes a little cracking sound but its not broken.and i was going to install my friends cod.
Lol, well if it made a crack sound you likely cracked the disc (somehow). (Can try shining a light through to see if its cracked.) If you heard a crack sound when it hit the ground you might as well make a new burn.
Thats what i just did but when i push x for the details on the game it goes to cod ghost on the marketplace but the game wont start???maybe installing a new cod ghost disk can fix it?
Ye, like I said before, you should try a get a new one because I am sure its broke if you heard it crack. XD
My bad for not explaining myself right.i didnt hear it crack it flew out of my hand but it rolled on the outside of the disk but a certain part of the disk when i push it ,it sounds like a little cracking sound but i dont see any crack on it other then the little white pieces that i said are inside the disk
umm if you hear a cracking sound on a disk that is definently a crack in the internal part of the disk, keep pushing down and im sure youll see it branch out to the exterior of the disk itself, Yumiyashi is right, Your disk Done Broke
Also white dots could be the fragments pushing against the disk, or when it fell some thing pushed against it and caused indents
if a tiny bit of the disk is chipped, the game wont read, it happened to my GTA V i had too go and buy another one
