    Hey guys,

Today I woke up to turn my xbox 360 slim on and it shows no sign of power in the console at all, no lights coming on, no noises, fan spinning or anything. However the power supply is orange light (as it's always been)

I don't know what's up with it, I tried disconnecting all of the wires and putting them back in and trying that, but still, seems as if the console is dead. Any suggestions? people had this problem before here?

When you press the power button, does it beep?

Have you tried powering on with the controller or by powering on with eject?

Going through the problem solving on xbox site it comes up with this.

    Xbox 360 S

    Power Light is Orange.

    Check your power supply cables

Your power supply cables might not be plugged in completely.
    1. Unplug the cords from the back of your console, the power supply, and the wall outlet.

    1. Plug the power cords firmly back into your console, the power supply, and the wall outlet.

    1. Be sure to plug your console directly into a wall outlet. Do not use a surge protector or an extension cord.
    2. Press the power button on your console.
If that doesn't work it says this.

    Try another power supply.

If you have access to another Xbox 360 power supply, try using that power supply with your console. This will help determine whether the problem is with the power supply or the console itself.

Also it could be the USB ports.

Due to bent/damaged USB ports and in turn won't let the console power up as it grounds the power.

If that doesn't work try it in a different room.

If it works in another room you know it's the power outlet.

I think it's the power supply possibly, I'll find out by borrowing my brothers PSU and seeing if that makes a difference. Thanks for the quick help.
