Bethesda has announced the release date for Wolfenstein The New Order as May 23rd. More interestingly it’ll come with beta access to “the next Doom game” on PS4, whatever that will be. Wolfenstein releasing May 24th, includes access to Doom beta There’s not been much info on Doom 4 other than some reportedly leaked concept art that was apparently out of date according to id, and rumblings that development had been scrapped and started over more than once. The Wolfenstein mention suggests that something is clearly on the way and we must be looking down the barrel of a reveal any time soon. The only concrete info we currently have is from Bethesda’s global community lead Matt Grandstaff who says “we’re excited to announce that with a pre-order of Wolfenstein: The New Order, you will be able to access the beta for the next DOOM game”. There’s also the following info over at the Wolfenstein site’s FAQ: I’VE JUST PRE-ORDERED WOLFENSTEIN, WHERE’S MY DOOM BETA KEY? An insert will be included inside your boxed copy of Wolfenstein: The New Order. This insert will include a key code along with code redemption instructions.
