I had a update this morning since i can't use the start button or any app at all. Is there a way i can roll back the update to see if it is the problem ? Any help please as i'm a noob with PC's
This is happening to everyone who downloaded the most recent updates. As a hindsight tip for the future, let a new product be out for an entire year before getting it. That was, bugs are worked out, problems are fixed, and this stuff will never happen Other people also going through this problem, it is the new update that caused it, and I'm guessing right about now, Microsoft is scrambling around like ants before Windows 10 gets a worse reputation than Internet Explorer did xD
I have no clue how to do that Addz lmao. I thought it auto installed and activated ? Edit: Is there anyway to roll back the update ?
It normally does but some people have had trouble with that, just log out then log back in or do a power cycle to see if the registry fixes the problem 1st
Try the powershell command, Open an Elevated Powershell prompt by pressing the Windows Key, typing Powershell, then pressing Ctrl+Shift+Enter Paste the following command into Powershell and execute it: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
CCleaner is good for stuff like this but Windows 10 is obviously pretty new, it shouldn't have these problems
Copied the wrong thingy in :LOL: try the new one Open an Elevated Powershell prompt by pressing the Windows Key, typing Powershell, then pressing Ctrl+Shift+Enter Paste the following command into Powershell and execute it: Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
You would think, right? Sadly a lot of stuff when it's new has a lot of issues But they are almost all fixed throughout the first year or two
Try a full power cycle and see if that helps, if not you might need to reinstall the OS, if you can right click on the start icon it should bring up like a pop up menu, if it dose find the powershell app and try the above.
I suggest burning Windows 10 onto a disk, pouring gasoline on it, and burning it for real, then installing Windows 7
