Hi, I'm pretty new to this obviously.. I have bought an R-jtag xbox and am planning on updating the dashboard but just want to make sure I'm going about it the right way. Yes just follow this tutorial and it will take about two minutes to update your RGH to 16547. Make sure you also install DL 3.11 as the tutorial says and follow the instructions and your good to go. Your RGH will need to be connected to some kind of internet connection to send the update so a ethernet or wireless adapter will work.
Should I just copy the DL 3.11 to a folder in root of hard drive then run the installer? After that, can I delete the 3.09 folder? I can connect to router / computer no problem as I FTP files to the xbox anyway and IP address shows in fsd. Thanks for taking the time to reply.
Install DL 3.11 and it will just replace 3.09 anyway no need to delete the files. And yeah thats all you need to have a connection to the internet if you IP shows on FSD your good to go just follow the tutorial.
