What is this? [MOD?]

My friend just bought this 360 off somebody he knows... and it cane with this addon lol. But does anybody know what it is or what it does?

Theres an ON/OFF switch, MODE ON MODE OFF switch. PC/XBOX switch and an EJECT button.

Can anybody shed any light on this?

Never seen this before, it's too amall to be a dev kit, it looks like it might be something like Datel's "XSATA"

 

It is, it allows you to reflash your dvd drive without having to keep pulling apart the console each time.

yeah the idea is pretty good. not sure how well they work. it's from xecuter so i assume pretty well. They also do something like this which is pretty cool as well.

so you don't have to do anything to your stock drive and you would just reflash the external whenever needed. great idea specially with the dash updates.

 

i had one before , it worked fine hooked to a ms25 ... sold it all tho.
