What is better in your opinion...

I noticed we are getting a lot of forums with subforums, and this is making the board index look kinda crowded, so i have been toying with something and am interested in your opinions.

So firstly i have given Call Of Duty its own section..

This is what the forums look like normally:



And this is without the subforums on display:



Now when you click on one of the forums you will see all subforums as usual, its just not visible on the forum index.




We can do this for all or just some of the forums...

I will be doing this on the premium forums as theres so many sections there now it will just tidy it up.

Let me know your thoughts on this guys... Good , bad , meh

Thanks for the feedback so far guys, i ll keep working away at tidying up the forums and making them easier to navigate. If you have any feedback, ideas about how you think the forums layout would look better please post below your ideas.

yea it looks better without the subforum display

 

I like the new way. You could always just take out the "Modern Warfare 2" part off the sub categories, then list them like so:

Glitching, Modding, Hacks, ect.

Instead of

Glitching
Modding
Hacks
ect

 

nice clean and simple look

 

I like the 2nd one, a lot cleaner

but...the first has quick links so...

If someone wanted to make a post in lets say mw2 lobbies they can see where it goes on the first but might get confused on the 2nd.

 

Which was my initial concern too, but after giving it some thought, im sure the majority of people will figure it out, and for the "5 of braindead people that cant , we got awesome staff

The forums look a hell of alot better now since you have hidden the sub-forums within the forums looks clean and tidy and a hell of alot better now looks sexy.
