My best suggestion is go to the RGH Jtag section and message someone who builds jtagged consoles. They should know. But as for the whole not getting banned no matter what you do there will always be a risc.
with a slim drive of that description you may be lucky as it mite have the 03x chipset which is easier to flash as it will only need a trace cut no drilling picture the chip and upload a pic .

Your best bet is too get it Flashed/Chipped, too run copied games, because thats the only modded xbox that doesnt get caught whilst connecting too xbox live, but if you want a RGH/Jtag then you'll be paying for KV's(KeyVaults) because theirs checks upon connecting too xboxlive, unless you use XBLS which you still have too pay around $25

you can dump the key and buy an unlocked pcb off a third party seller but as its a slim you will need a usb pro to hook the drive upto .

Its better to just flash it m8 its fast and easy to use, only thing u need to no now after flashing is that u need to reflash the box after any system update to yr box as this will reflash yr DVD drive back to stock also u will need to learn to burn games to play if u want to learn that is, or if ure going to the X-Key den its best to have some one who is a pro at it to install it if u don't no how to this way u have a very small % of F-ups when u don't DIYS as X-Key is far better den ISO as u can change/move games to yr HDD/USB faster and mod it quicker as an ISO needs to be burn once per disk. So yea Flash or X-Key Me I when for flash a lot easy to burn my own games.
