Earlier this week, reports indicated that each PlayStation Vita would only support one PSN ID, and that a factory reset would be required to swap accounts. Sony has now clarified, explaining that each account will be bonded to a memory card, not a system. Players who want to use multiple accounts will have the option of doing so, but each account will need to be bonded to its own card. A factory reset is only required if you want to use multiple accounts but only have one memory card. "Your PSN ID is bonded to your memory card and your memory card is bonded to your Vita," said Sony associate brand marketing manager Crystal MacKenzie. "So if you wanted to change different PSN users but use the same memory card, you would need to go factory reset." MacKenzie added that if you only have one account but still want to have multiple cards, "you can also use them both on the same PSN account as well."
