Short Description: Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2 trailer introduces key characters

Konami has released a new trailer for Castlevania Lords Of Shadow 2.

The video introduces the characters and adversaries that will feature in the third and final chapter of the Lords Of Shadow series.

Among the characters shown are Dracula (the game's protagonist, voiced again by Robert Carlyle) and Zobek (Patrick Stewart), one of the founders of the Brotherhood Of Light who hides a dark secret.

Also returning are Carmilla, Marie and Satan, while many new characters are also introduced.

The trailer follows a new batch of Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2 screenshots released recently, showing off the sections of the game which take place in a modern day city.

Set many years after the previous Lords Of Shadow and its spin-off Mirror Of Fate, Lords Of Shadow 2 sees Gabriel, now known as Dracula, preparing to regain his powers so he can take on and destroy Satan.

Konami has confirmed a Castlevania: Lords of Shadow 2 release date of February 28 in Europe and February 25 in the US.

A special edition, called the Dracula's Tomb Premium Edition, will be limited to 30,000 copies and will contain four miniature figurines designed by Judge Dredd and Wildcats artist Neil Googe, an A4 hardcover artbook and the game itself in a special steelbook cover.
