tried on 360 and didn't work

 

Should be exactly the same on either console. Where you in patrol or in the mission?

 

i did both

 

Just did this on my PS4 and I can confirm this is still working. Still an instant spawnage.

 

it still works you have to be sure to stand in correct spot and if you miss any of the hive on the outside right that area will not spawn until they are all gone.
