hey guys, i hope this is the right forum for my thread. otherwise please excuse and feel free to put the thread where it belongs. heres my issue: i wanted to install the latest TU for fifa 13 on my xbox. since this is the first time ever, i wasn't too sure if i did right. so, heres what i did: i installed xtaf latest version got the TU from the update center put it in the correct folders on a usb stick put the usb stick in the xbox, saw the correct update shown in the files and moved them to my xbox HDD where i found dem correctly within the FIFA 13 data so, i started the game. to check if it had worked, i looked at the jersey of a certain team which, according to the patch notes, should now be a different one. which it wasnt. so my next step was to delete the update file, clean the cache of the xbox and put the update file back again after restarting the console. but still, no update done. so my question is now: what went wrong? i dont have to install or activate the update, do i? or doesnt every update file really work? id be glad to read anything that would help me. thanks alot!
if you plug your jtag into the internet and use FSD to get the TU press Y to bring up options then manage title updates and will download and install the latest one available
your right i just assumed BUT if it is a jtag/rgh you do have to select which TU to use the same way press Y and manage title updates and select the newest one
afaik, its no jtag. just flashed so i can play verbatim-burned dvd dlr's... (yes i know, im not very good informed about my own console. its a shame) anyways, i tried horizon: so, seems easy enough. dragged the file into the software and transferred it to the flash drive... now i put the usb to the xbox and started the game- no change. i tried to move the update to the hdd again - no change. what now? do i have to activate the TU manually or just move it to the hdd?
tbh i don't know i either update over xbox live or through fsd on my rgh. Evo might need to take over from here
I have the same problem with fifa 13. I did everything from step to step exactly like it is written here: http://digiex.net/guides-reviews/console-guides/xbox-360-guides/4537-how-extract-dump-title-updates-patches-360-usb-memory-stick.html#post27234 I tried these updates: http://www.beta.xbuc.net/browse/?search=fifa+13 I'm from Hungary, so I downloaded the PAL ones, I tried all of the #7s and #1s, I even tried to put all #7s on the pendrive at the same time, still the game wasn't updated, because Napoli still had the non-licensed kits. I didn't have my HDD connected.
I had exactly the same problem; I spent two days following conflicting guides on how to load a TU properly onto my USB drive using XTAF. Now that it finally registers on my console (before it would show up either as a corrupted update, a corrupted video or not show up at all)...how do I make sure the TU is working? It's for FIFA 13. I assumed that as the TU is clearly intact and on my USB drive, it would start working as soon as I booted up the game but nope! I know it's not working as the original game featured the Napoli team with incorrect kit and a different team logo, and they remain the same. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need to "activate" the TU, so to speak. As you can probably tell I'm new here. XPGEVO - if you could PM me whatever you PM'd decay, that would be great. Cheers
