    Hello,

I've searched around on the forums and have come across this same issue presented multiple times, but haven't had any luck finding a fix.

I've tried multiple USB sticks, of varying brands. All of them have been formatted in the Xbox and had save files copied on to them. They all also show in Horizon, as well as Windows Explorer when plugged into the computer. They will not, however, show in 360 Revolution.

I tried it on two different computers - one is a Surface Pro 3 with Windows 8.1, the other a generic laptop with Windows 7. Both had .NET 4.0 or better. Neither computers had any issues seeing the USBs, they just won't display in 360 Revolution.

The install of the program on both computers was from the homepage, fresh installs. Tried redownloading the file multiple time. Also, ran as Administrator on both computers.

Any tips? I'd really like to use this program.

Close any and all programs that seem to be searching or using your USB Device then run 360Revolution as admin.

Seems to still work just fine for me.

I've done this on a fresh reboot of each system. Nothing really runs at start-up. (I've disabled it all in MSConfig). The Windows 7 laptop is a fresh install of the OS.

Any tips at how I can find if any programs are looking for it?

Mind you, it doesn't automatically look for your device. You have to click File > Open > point it to the USB Drive you want to open.
Make sure no other programs are open that are using the USB device (i.e. Horizon, Modio, etc... you can use those afterwards if you choose). This may sound dumb to some but this is a simple step that is frequently overlooked by many.

If you already follow those steps then is your device formatted under the most recent April Dashboard update (that supports up to 2 TB HDDs)?

When I click the File - Open prompt it comes up with a windows that says "No Devices Found".

For the record, I reboot my computer and 360R was the first, and only, item that I opened. When opening it I can see the indicator lights on my USB flashing like it does when I first insert it into the computer. Still no dice. The ports are USB 3.0, if that makes any difference.

Is there any sort of bug log or support log I can post that would contain information? Probably not since an error isn't really being triggered, it just isn't finding the USB. I figured that I'd ask, though.

I don't know the answer to that.

I don't have any beta or special dashboard updates on my Xbox. It's just a standard 360, and has whatever the latest public update is. The USB drives were format on it. When I bring them to my computers they recognize them, as does Horizon. Horizon shows the save games on them, and profiles. When I browse to it in Windows explorer it just shows a text file, no gamesaves or anything.

Could simply be the type of USB drive that 360Revolution doesn't see, or it could be that you aren't running 360Revolution as Admin (which would cause 360Revolution not to see USB Devices).

Also make sure you have the latest version of 360Revolution. If all else fails, change the compatibility mode to run the program as Windows 7 and below, then run as admin. It wouldn't hurt to try different USB ports to try to have 360Revolution open it.

I've tried at least 8 of my different USB Devices on 5 different machines (ranging from Windows XP, Vista, 7, 8.1, and 8.1 Integrated Steam Machine), they all seem to be running fine for me using the methods listed above.

What size and type is your USB Device?

I'll be out and about until later tonight, but I appreciate the prompt responses!

I'll try some more USB sticks tonight (I have a dozen or so of various sizes and brands) and document the whole thing.

Running the program as an Administrator simply entails right clicking the program and selecting Run as Admin, correct? I'm doing that (as well as my account being the administrative account). I'll try setting it in various compatibility mods tonight.

My Surface Pro 3 has only 1 USB port. I have a hub that I can plug into it for more, but it would all still be routed through that same port. The port functions fine.

No problem. We'll try to figure it out together of why you're having this issue.

If that were the case, then they can simply plug their USB device and see all the necessary folders in Windows Explorer (as you would with the USB Device feature in 360Revolution).

Some still may not have the 2TB support beta dashboard update that you are referencing.
