Many GTA V players on Xbox One are suffering from nasty or you can called it victim of the "dreaded empty session bug", where it puts players in lobbies/empty sessions alone. An unofficial fix for this nasty issue has been discovered by a gaming user.

To fix this issue, all Xbox One owners need to do is (the below mention steps is to fix bug where players get ONLY empty sessions):

    • Go home on your Xbox One
    • (If currently playing GTA) Press "Start" while hovering on GTA, hit "Settings" and "Quit".
    • Now go to your Xbox One Settings(Just press Start, then click Settings)
    • Go to "Network", then "Advanced Network Settings"
    • Click on "Alternate MAC Address", and then click "Clear".
    • When you restart, make sure your NAT Type is still set to "Open" and you're ready to play
After completing the above steps, it will require you to restart, so make sure you confirm restart notification. Also, this reboot will be a bit longer than the normal reboot. You may Still find yourself in an empty session every once in a while, but they do exist on Rockstar's server and getting a full one, 1/2 full one, or empty one is the luck of the draw.

Yeah I sometimes get this problem too. I thought it was because I use a friends Xbox One Account, as my home console to share his XBL with him... Because I actually don't have it I thought it was a side effect bug.

Ill try this later and report back. ;)
