Can I move my good profile to a MU, get acheivements on a banned xbox, uncorrupt the newly corrupted profile and put it back on the good xbox? I think you can but I'm having problems
Yes. Look in the download center for CON Flag Remover. Follow the directions on the comment for the download.
When I followed the instructions i ended up with a .bak file and origonal file. But then again I didnt use your instructions, I read it off xbox360iso. I'll try again.
The ".bak" file is a backup file of the original before you fix it. The app actually does the exact same thing that HxD does if you edit your file and save it... it creates a backup of the original file and adds the ".bak" extension to it. If you need to use the original (".bak") file then just delete the ".bak" from it and it's just like the original. I probably shouldn't have coded that into the app because some people have been having problems not understanding that...but sometimes when you're using editors it's good to be able to revert to the original when needed.

I failed again. This is not working. I think it has something to do with using a MW2 console. My MW2 Console ID is 12 characters.
That sounds weird... Are you sure about that because a console's ID is 5 bytes (10 characters). I don't think they'd do something new all of a sudden on just one model console, well it's very unlikely. Do you have any proof of this? And do you have a save or profile created on that console? I'd like to see... If it is different then I can adjust the app to work for that model console.
I checked the console ID on the system. Menu/settings/system settings/ console settings/ system info. Thats where I got the 12 character console ID Now on a save I made on that console it's only 10 characters, checked with 360sr.exe I hope the pic I took is ok. I dont want to plaster my ID's on teh web lol.
Well, the thing is... if MS did start doing 6 bytes (12 character) console IDs, then any resigner out now isn't going to work right because they're all made to read/write only 5 bytes (10 characters), so that extra byte (2 characters) will not be read/written. If this is a new standard for MS then resigners and other apps will need to change to compensate. Why not take your file that was created on the new console and open it in a hex editor and look at the console ID and verify that way? The Console ID is at offset 0x36C (5 bytes), and right after it at offset 0x371 (8 bytes) is your Profile ID. Take a look and see if that's how it is... If you can't figure it out PM me a save created on that console and I can look for you (don't worry, I'm not MS nor do I care about your IDs ).
I use Qtr's program and then the hashblock calculator and it works fine: http://www.xpgamesaves.com/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=85 open your banned profile with Qtr's program hit un-blacklist then open save with hashblock calculator and calculate hash blocks. then put profile on legit xbox and update tour gamerscore on xbox live. on a side note the same program will also un-blacklist the saves also.
The console id on the save is different than the one on the console. I'll try that with the profile and see what happenes. I pm'd you a link to the save made on the MW2 console. Natas, I'll check that out...I hope it works. Thanks bro!
I'm pretty sure QTR's is doing the same thing as mine... Edit: I looked at the System Info on my 360 and the console ID it shows is 12 characters long as well. I think that's something different than the normally known console ID because that ID isn't found in any of my files. The console ID that you need to worry about is 5 bytes (10 characters).
Yeah, I cant get anything to work. QTR's program, Jizzas program, none work. I have unblacklisted, hash blocked, resigned. Doing it different ways each time.
I don't know if it makes any difference but when I got banned and got my new console I recovered my gamertag to the new harddrive(I got suckered into buying the Modern Warfare 250gb console) then I moved my profile to my MU and put it on the banned cosole threw in a game(Spongebob) got a few quick achievements ran it through the programs and then put it on my legit console(with my fingers crossed) and all was fine. I never tried it on the original banned profile because I jumped the gun and re-formatted my harddrive losing everything. I don't know if recovering the profile had anything to do with my success but if you haven't tried it you might give it a try(backing up your profile of coarse)and see what happens. Good luck
Thats exactly what I did Natas. Same game, same console(MW2). I recover the profile on the MW2 console, move to MU, Put it in the banned box, get cheevos, run it throught the programs and move it back to the MW2 console. WTF am I doing wrong ??!?!? LoL. Are you extracting the e0000.... file from the FF folder, unblacklisting it like that, then put it back?
Yeah, I'm doing something wrong lol After the file gets hash blocked you you "calculate hash blocks" again? Are you resigning? What programs are you using from start to finish?
here is exacttly what I do: open profile with QTR's unblacklist program and hit unblacklist when it is done I open it with the hashblock calculator and calculate hash blocks(I am using the hashblock calculator that is cracked by "supermodder911") then I move profile back to memory unit and put it on legit console and login to live. you can also open your profile with the resigner merge tool and click the "misc" tab and it will tell you if your profile and or a game save is blacklisted. the first couple of time I would check before and after but I don't even bother anymore
LOL.. Just so you know Supermodder911 didn't "crack" Xbox360 Hash Block Calculator, he created it and other people have cracked it. I thought surely you'd know that with you being a member on xbox360-content...
I got it!!!! I recovered my profile, moved it to the MU, played a game on the banned console, got cheevos, unblacklisted profile, took my HD off the good MW2 console, signed in and all was good. What did my HD have to do with anything?
