If there's any consolation to "Uncharted 4's" PS4 release getting pushed back to 2016, it would be the Naughty Dog's reassurance that they're really working hard on the new title.
The launch delay was essential to deliver the outstanding gameplay and visuals developers have promised. Meanwhile, while eager fans still have to wait for a while before they get their hands on the new game, it looks like a beta access could be released along with pre-orders.
"An article from Gamepur suggests that these might involve announcements about beta access for Uncharted 4 as a bonus for pre-ordering, as well as Uncharted Trilogy Remastered. The delay of the game's release certainly disappointed a lot of fans, especially those who can't get enough of 'Uncharted 3,'" VCPost reported. Another "Uncharted 4" PS4 release date update hinted on a darker game, possibly inspired by "The Last of Us."
"An article from Movie Pilot also hints on the possibility that Uncharted 4 will get some touch of the darkness that comes from 'The Last of Us.' This is supported by the first preview released which shows the foreboding environment Nathan Drake appears in. Perhaps Naughty Dog and Neil Druckmann are going the extra mile to make enhancements in both the gameplay and story," the article continued.

The highly anticpated release boasts of outstanding and realistic visuals. And while some are currently not blown-away with the gameplay previews Naughty Dog has released, many are saying that the new game will be awesome on the next-gen console PS4.
As Business Insider noted, "The 'next-generation' gaming consoles, the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, have been on the market for exactly a year now. So even though they're technically 'current-generation,' people still have yet to see a game that truly uses the power of these new machines."
