If you play on link and want to create and use a clan tag it is possible. To make this work you will need to download the GPD file included and you will need to hex edit the gpd file to what you want to use. I used hex editor that is free called "HxD". You will open HxD and then open the GPD file included then hit CTRL + F and put in THOR then edit THOR on the right side of the screen to what you want to use. keep the tag 4 characters big. you can use spaces so you could put a space at the end of a 3 character tag if need be and this will work too. see pic below.
