Tomb Raider's first DLC pack has been announced. The 'Caves and Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack' will be available as a timed exclusive on Xbox 360 from March 19 worldwide. Introducing three new multiplayer maps, the arenas will be playable on all four game modes. Maps include Scavenger Caverns - a vast underground network of caves that hides a scavenger prison - and Cliff Shantytown, which is a settlement built high on cliff tops and is said to hide the deadliest traps on the island. Finally, The Burning Village takes place in an abandoned Japanese village that's ablaze, where burning buildings offer different opportunities to trap or escape from enemy players. 'Caves and Cliffs Multiplayer Map Pack' will be priced at 400 Microsoft Points (£3.40 / $5). Release details on PS3 and PC have yet to be revealed. Released earlier this week, the new Tomb Raider is an origin story, where Lara Croft finds herself shipwrecked on a hostile island in a story that shapes her into the heroine seen in the original games. It was recently revealed that the game will see the 'world's first real-time hair' thanks to AMD's Tressfx technology on PC.
