THQ’s Homefront has been delayed, albeit a minor delay. The FPS was originally due out in February 2011, but has now been put back a month to March. It’s not a massive delay, so it’s nothing to worry about, but it joins Red Faction Armageddon – another THQ game – which was recently delayed into May 2011. Homefront is set during an invasion of the USA by North Korea. If you think that sounds similar to the film Red Dawn (although that was Russians) then you’d probably like to know that John Millius, who penned the film (as well as co-writing the classic Apocalypse Now), is on writing duties. Developers Kaos Software would rather you compare the game to Half-Life 2 than the inevitable comparisons to the Call of Duty games
