The game is an enhanced remake of High Voltage Software's Nintendo Wii-exclusive shooter with improved graphics and touchscreen controls. High Voltage Software confirmed on its website that it will distribute the first mission for free and sell the others as premium level pack bundles. Three-level packs will be priced at $2.99 (£2), with six-level packs costing $4.99 (£3.30). "The Conduit HD looks even better than the original! With the power of the Tegra chipset, we are finally able to deliver console-quality visuals on mobile devices," said High Voltage Software's chief creative officer Eric Nofsinger.
