If you search harder you'll find there is a JTAG trainer already floating around. Also there are starter saves and lvl 60 saves posted too. A save editor would be nice but don't expect one that does much more than the trainer for a while since Diablo 3 is a complex game with literally infinite equipments and such.
You could always get one of the saves posted on this site, create a tempory profile on your xbox. Assign the save to the tempory profile and then create a 2 player game (one screen), then trade the gold in game... This is how I did it, as didn't want to use the trainer.. Although may need the trainer when I get to inferno... lmao
I have found the decryption/encryption in IDA gonna go to bed now, but tomorrow morning I will reverse it and make a tool
got it to decrypt, going to work on encryption next, sorry for delay. I will probably post my source for encryption/decryption once it is done as this game has a pretty simple one.

If you extract the account.dat from a modded save, and then replace it with yours you should have the modded gold on your saved game, try it out and see if it works and dont forget to rehash/resign
Update I got it fully working and made my class gonna make a tool in a bit. And your point is? I just got it done, well I originally had it done a while ago lol it is a RC4 Encryption.. Meaning you get it to decrypt then you can use the same function to encrypt it so when I got it to decrypt it already could be used to encrypt it again. I am working on a tool now. and just so you know my class for it is l33t, meaning it is nice and smooth, no unnecessary code. I will post it in a bit so everyone can make their own tools as I honestly see no point in keeping it to myself as it was a pretty simple one to reverse engineer. Just a little teaser

yeah there is, someone on xpg will probably make one as I released my source for the Cipher. http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/81973-diablo-3-cipher/ I will make a save editor as well when I get the chance, kinda busy ATM and since the Cipher for it only took a few minutes to reverse I went and decided to release it openly so anyone could use it and credit me and make a tool.
