    can most rte tools be used on a windows 8 tablet & 360 sdk??

    It depends on the architecture of the tablet. MOST of the Windows 8 Surface tablets were designed to use a different architecture than that which these tools are coded in. If you find a way to get one working though, be SURE to let us know.

    tablet with windows 8/8.1 rt = you cant run most of them ( some .net 4.0/4.5 apps should work )
    tablet with windows 8/8.1 ( normal windows ) = everything works fine ( incl xbox sdk )
