Rogue Trooper Redux Gameplay: 14 Minutes of Remastered Blasting

There's just no sign of retro remasters stopping any time soon, is there? But if they're anything along the lines of how Rebellion's Rogue Trooper Redux - a remaster of the original Xbox and PS2 cover shooter classic - is shaping up, then keep 'em coming.

Originally released back in 2006, Rogue Trooper took the 2000AD clone soldier and plonked him into a robust and remarkably playable cover shooter, at exactly the time when cover shooters were about to become increasingly de rigueur. In short, it was a rather fine game and somewhat ahead of its time.

With TickTock Games handling development duties, Rogue Trooper Redux is looking like a remaster job that does justice to the original version, aiming to bring it bang up to date on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC. Check it out in our 14-minute gameplay walkthrough below.
