Due to the ongoing DDoS attacks on both PlayStation Network and Xbox LIVE, developer Rockstar Games has decided to extend the gift-giving in Grand Theft Auto Online. As you're probably well aware by now, PSN and Xbox LIVE have been suffering from outages since yesterday. Because of the DDoS attacks -- which are believed to stem from a group called Lizard Squad -- the online portion of many games, including Destiny, NBA 2K15, and Grand Theft Auto 5 have been inaccessible. For GTA 5, this meant the special limited-time Christmas Day inventory gifts in GTA Online were not able to be collected by players. Rockstar Games has decided to extend the gifts "for the time being."
I wasn't too impressed with what they did this time around but, some of it was cool. The masks are my favorite part.
