Hi Everyone Apols if this has been covered but couldn't find it. Have downloaded modio, xtaf etc and trying to use the salvage mod tool. I extract the gpd to a convenient location but everytime I check open gpd using the Mod tool I get unhandled exception error has occurred etc. I've downloaded two different versions of the mod tool but the same message on both! I'm using XP and have .Net 4.0.30319 as latest version and updated everything. I dual boot Vista and XP (know Vista is crap) and have tried with Vista as well but have the same issue. Is this some glitch which is unique to my system or is it a common problem with a known workaround? Appreciate your advice as very frustrated at the moment. Download 360revolution and use the salvage mod tool in there, no need for modio or xtaf because 360 revolution has it all built in. XPG does not support modio or xtaf and if you still insist on using them please ask the creators of them tools http://www.xpgamesaves.com/forum/375-360revolution/
Many thanks I do not "insist" using them. I'm more than happy to use 360revoluton but would I still need to use the RFA salavage mod tool with 360 revolution? If so, I'm still going to get the unhandled exeption error message as this occurs when you've extracted the appropriate gpd file.
Hi again Update. Can't get this prog to work. Loads but you can't get any of the tools to respond. Also all the game options are greyed out. I'm currently using XP and have the most recent version of .Net.
Hi Many thanks. It was obvious really! However, I now have the same problem as before. When I try and open the RFA gpd file I get... Yep, you've guessed it unhandled exception has occurred in your application... Am I the only one using XP? Am I the only one using XP and getting this error? Any advice would be much appreciated.
