Sadly we are becoming used to being disappointed when it comes to AAA game releases, for one reason or another. Either games release broken, incomplete or missing modes that they were advertised to release with, as was the case with Resident Evil Revelations 2. The steam page for Resident Evil Revelations 2 stated that the game would feature a local co-op mode, however Capcom claimed that this was a mistake after the game had released. The modding scene has rushed to the rescue and created a mod that adds local co-op functionality. The mode has limitations due to the fact the game wasn’t designed with this feature, so gamers wishing to play local co-op mode will need to do so using gamepads.
