Norman messed me up a few times on infernal too but the trick i found is to not use any or as little herbs until he's past his second rage and that way i had plenty spare for those darn run attacks he does, and i used the SMG up until he starts those run attacks and then i switch to the sniper/magnum for max damage. Oh and you can scan him a few times for 2 extra herbs too just incase you didn't know! Hope i helped you a little.
