Capcom have just announced that they plan to re-release Resident Evil 4, 5, and 6 this year on both PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles. Resident Evil 6 will launch first on March 29; followed by Resident Evil 5, which is scheduled for release sometime in the summer. Resident Evil 4 will release sometime in the fall.
The games will be priced at $19.99 each on release which is a bargain considering each game will ship with all add-ons and DLC. A physical edition will eventually be available in the Americas, most certainly after the eventual release of Resident Evil 4.

"Three of the franchise’s biggest hits are now coming to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One: Resident Evil 4, Resident Evil 5, and Resident Evil 6.
Play as Leon S. Kennedy in Resident Evil 4 as he battles a multitude of threats to rescue the U.S. President’s daughter. Jump into Resident Evil 5 solo or co-op as Chris Redfield and Sheva Alomar as they join forces to solve the truth behind a new outbreak. Experience Resident Evil 6 with a full roster of new and returning characters, as they combat the C-Virus as it threatens humanity on a global scale."
It is safe to assume that the games will be remastered for the Xbox One and PS4, although Capcom have not actually confirmed this yet.
