For 15 years the PlayStation controllers haven't really changed their design since the 1998 Dualshock. One big complaint from gamers is dead zone on the analog sticks this has been fixed on both stick with a stiffer resistance. Unlike the rounded convex tops of previous analog sticks , the ps4 controller will have ridged concave tops that should prevent your fingers from slipping. This new touch pad sits high in the center of the controller replacing the traditional start and select button. It's smaller than a laptop touch pad but will be capable to multi touch gestures. This will prove handy for browsing through the consoles main screen or Netflix. The one main feature many don't know about but is the best is the top of the controller allows the system to track your position and adjust split screen with conjunction to the stereo camera peripheral.
