Sony have rolled out a new update for Playstation 3 consoles which they stated on Twitter will fix some stability issues. Interestingly the recent firmware update '4.65' has also patched the use of Optical Drive Emulators (ODE). https://twitter.com/PlayStation/status/504126707142782976 One of the Cobra Team behind the Cobra ODE has said that the latest update could be the one that finishes ODE for good. "Sony has released PS3 Original FirmWare Update v4.65 via PSN (SEN). I think this could be the final nail in the 'ODE coffin' based on previous firmware releases, but I haven't checked it, so this is pure speculation based on a hunch. I have updated the Ps3OsRels wiki as usual where the updates also can be downloaded, or at least could be at one point. This time there was an incremental update (PS3PATCH.PUP)."
