PS3 - No picture or sound! Any ideas???

    Just picked up 1 of the old 60GB consoles. It had ylod but repaired it. When I switch it on It has green light, can insert/eject games etc. Just no picture or sound! Not sure if it's something I've done when I opened it up but don't think it was as I was really careful. Any ideas?

    How are you connecting it up dave HDMI OR AVI LEAD? If your using HDMI and he used it as avi you will need to connect it with avi first then adjust settings dont you as it remembers the last settings. I dont know ;(
