Problems with putting edited save data from usb back on 360.

1. Ok so I put the original save game (mine, no resigning required) on the flash drive.
2. It shows up as Data000 files so I use Xtaf to convert it to actual usable save data usable by the editor.
3. I make the edits I want to make, and then save the save game as a .gsv (no trouble there, though this is probably the problem, manually changing the file extension)
4. I put the .gsv onto the flashdrive and shove it into the 360.
5. Only the original save data from the Data000 files shows up. The GSV is nowhere to be found.
The game is Warriors Orochi 3 BTW.
What am I doing wrong?
