Possible to ISO MOD Crysis 3?

One of are members is working on iso mods for crysis 3 not sure what he has working,think he is still working on them

 

Thanks for replying to my thread sideshow, it's nice to know that someone is working on iso mods for this.

As I said, I have got the game, but don't intend to play it until at least wednesday, as it's not officially out in the UK until this Friday.

I have managed to find and mod the games difficulty.cfg files, however have yet to test them.

I will upload my pak files for anyone wanting to test singleplayer mods. Possible god mode, no inventory limit, unlimited ammo and unlimited suit energy on Normal difficulty for the time bieng. I also added a line to the multiplayer.cfg to possibly unlock all presale dlc, if it actually will work, then I suppose it's a bonus.

I found that if you add too many new lines of cheats - cvars to each .cfg file, then xbox backup creator will say the file is too large to replace.

So it's much easier to just create multiple GameData.pak file mods for each difficulty level modded. E.g, one for easy, normal, hard, supersoldier.

i was modding the system.cfg, but didnt try anything online yet. Im also working on stat editor, but we will see how that goes lol.

Hasn't this already been tried by someone else and they didn't work or some of them did some didn't

If i had the files ill gladly test them on my X-KEY and give feedback on them

Thanks for the reply's on this topic, I've supplied my files I have modded, if anyone is willing to test them out.

Also if they do work for campaign on normal difficulty, I will edit the rest of the difficulties, so you can choose which difficulty you would like to play through with all the mods on, e.g Supersoldier.

 

I burned a dvd and after the crytech logo it freezes.

 

Ill test these shortly using my X-KEY

 

I know Enigma is working on this and if anyone can smash it he can, can I just ask why only on normal?. Mainly would be using these for the God Mode on Supersoldier so its a must that they work on all difficulties mate. Great work if they work but until god mod works on all difficulties kind off defeats the object as normal is very easy anyway.

 

UPDATE: These mods don't work all the game does is freeze after the cry engine 3 logo

Here is some info, Gamedata.pak mods done to Campaign will not continue to load the rest of the game. you will be stuck in limbo.

Engine.pak will freeze before the game will load correctly.

Startup.pak freezes before the game will load.

Also .xml are encrypted.

Anything edited in the .pak files with either freeze or limbo you.

There is some kind of check system.

 

Thanks for testing the mods you guys, Sorry that they do not work at this time. As it was my first shot at trying to get these working.

I have just seen that team xpg have uploaded their iso mods for crysis 3 today, so a big shout out, to all at xpg involved!

Yeah, the reason I just changed the normal difficulty .cfg with mods, was that I found that if I modded more than 1 or 2 .cfg files, then xbox backup creator's image browser, would give a warning that filesize had exceeded its limitation.
