Hi guys, So, I'm having an issue with installing the latest title update for Assassin's Creed III. Note: My console is banned, so I have to do offline updates, and this is my very first attempt. What I did, was I transferred the latest title update from XBUC to a X360 configured USB thumb drive, and popped it in the console. It recognized the file, even got the AC3 logo and all, and so I copied it to the console's HDD. However, even though the update is on my HDD and everything, I'm still getting glitches that should've been fixed in the "Day One Patch", according to the official patch notes. When I launched the game the first time after having transferred the TU, I didn't get any prompt to install it, but I don't know if that's a thing, I just expected it. I've since then tried going into System Settings > Storage, and select the TU, to see if I had to manually install it, but there was no such option. Does anyone know if I've done something wrong, or if there's something more I need to do? Thanks in advance! Edit: Found out the update was incompatible with the region of my AC3 copy. I learned the MediaID of my copy of the game, and then found the latest update with a MediaID to match, and that worked just fine!
Yup, did that. First time I tried it, I didn't place it in that directory, so it wouldn't even detect the update. Then I did it properly, and then it did. So I don't think that's the issue... Thanks, though!
Honestly, you may want to remake your game. Some people have been having serious issues with AC3, thankfully I had no real issues. Also, try TU 4 which is out now, get your version here: http://www.xbuc.net/?details=Assassins%20Creed%20III
