Hi All, I've been playing games for years and never really looked into modding. Considering I work in IT, you would think I would have. I started at the basics. I spent a good while looking through these forums and reading peoples advice I downloaded a mod for Gears of War Judgement, made by Coma which changes the game saves. To be honest, it's brilliant. It leaves me wanting more. I don't have a flashed Xbox and I may not considering the impending release of the "720". So, I have a question. Can you upload the better mods like the one from Jackass http://www.xpgamesaves.com/topic/64887-release-gears-of-war-judgement-mods-updated-v4/#.UVLH9ByeN8E without first flashing my Xbox? I've read a lot about coalesced bin files and xex files. Currently, I have no clue how to use them. I have Horizon, 360 Revolution, USBXTAF currently which has helped me mod game saves via Coma's program and a USB stick. So, for all those pro's out there. Any help would be gratefully welcomed. Your humbling noob, Gazzabazza.
Good to have you here , enjoy the forum and yes you will need either a flashed box or an Xkey (disc emulation from external hard drive) to use what we call "ISO mods" other mods like "Xex Mods" and "Trainers" require a Jtag, RGH or Devkit console to run unsigned code,,,there are some "Usb Mods" for COD games and others that can be used on a legit retail system using only a flash drive, hope that's enough to get you heading in the right direction
Appreciate your help. I guessed to get to the good stuff, you need to flash the xbox. I have an old chunky Xbox in the draw at home, so I may send that off this weekend. Knowing me, I'll somehow screw up and get it banned. At least my newer one will be safe when I start tinkering. Thanks again
You could always just leave your Phat Xbox taken apart and hotswap whenever you want to use a ISO Mod. Install the game to a USB while you hotswap (suggesting you have a large enough USB to hold the game files) You should be able to bring them onto your legit xbox. This is all speculation though because I haven't tried it.
