Hey guys, I just joined and started doing this so keep that in mind, but I downloaded a save game from this site onto my pc and am trying to get it on my usb in order to put it back on my xbox. I get it on my usb after rehashing and saving it, then I can't find it when I get back on my xbox, but I can find the saves I take from my xbox then bring on here and mod. If that doesn't make sense then please ask for clarification, but this is where I'm at so far, and help would be appreciated
Ya I changed the Id's and rehashed, all of that. The save shows up in my system storage as save 504 Prisoner Skyrim, my most recent save is save 101, is there anything to do with that? Even though it shows up in my hard drive, I can't find it when I go in to load my game.
Ok bro do this: 1. Plug your USB into your xbox and copy your current save onto your USB 2. Now remove the USB from the xbox and put it into your computer 3. Now open Horizion on your computer 4. Drag both your current save and the one you downloaded onto Horizion 5. You should now see two boxes, copy and paste your current save's ID's and paste them into the one you downloaded 6. Rehash and resign and save to USB 7. Put the USB back on the xbox delete your current save and then move the one you downloaded onto your xbox. Hope I helped, if you need any more help just Pm me!
if you downloaded the save from the internet. it might just be a modded pc save of skyrim. before you put it on your USB through horizon make sure to check the file extension. e.g. my save file "Save 41 - OMES Skyrim 49.25.11.exs" if it is a .exs file your xbox should not have any problems finding the save after you change id's rehash/resign. but since you do, maybe there's something you missed. the save file that you downloaded from the internet, does it have the same name as mine ? or is it a "savegame.dat" or .ess ? before you do anything pls check the file type first ------- only do this if you have a savegame.dat file------ if it is a savegame.dat you will need to open your save on horizon (by double clicking it) then a box will appear with the id's etc. on top of that box you will see a tab called "content"click on that and you will see a file called savegame.dat now right click in there and select "replace" select the savegame.dat you downloaded and it will replace the old one. after that rehash/resign and you should be good to go. if you really really dont know what your doing. send me the save file. i can check it out. or if you want, mod you a save file from scratch on the pc. (i donwloaded skyrim pc version just to do that)
