Need some good old advice!

    I'm really in to FeedTheBeast, but my laptop is giving me a lot of lagg spikes when I'm playing (MacBook Pro)
    So I thought; why not ask the XPG members if they can give me some advice on what computer/ laptop I should get. :D

    Any advice is appreciated!

    what would ure budget be?
    do you have older computers that u can get parts like hdd, etc.
    do you prefer mobility over power?
    do you prefer mac or windows or not care?
    do you just game or do you record/stream or plan to?

    also have you tried adding optifine, my computer is pretty terrible and optifine makes FTB manageable to play for me atleast(30-40fps).

    Its a version of minecraft with a lot of mods in it.
    Machines and stuff and electrical things.

    Yes. And I think Tekkit Client already has it installed.
