ok so i recently bought an RGH'd 360 slim should be here in 3 weeks as the seller has to mod it and the like so while hes modding it id like ot educate my self on some things. so this is what the seller said in his latest message to me console has the new freeboot img installed. so once u get the console all you have to do is put the hdd and run fsd my question is once i install my games that i own onto my internal 360 hard drive how do i run trainers for example i own the game sacred 2 fallen angel how would i run a trainer for said game im new to all of this
To run the game trainers make sure of the following information; The trainer file matches the TITLE ID and MEDIA ID and TU (Title Update Version) Make sure you have xbdm.xex set as a plugin only as a majority some trainers don't like other external plugins running. Many trainer devs recommend you place the trainer files within the game folder itself which I personally don't find a problem. I personally created a separate folder on the HDD as 'Trainers\Game Name' - With either method you can run the trainer from pressing the guide button\file explorer (I think) then you should be able to navigate to the hard drive and boot the xex file.
Not needed for most trainers to run. (if the op has trouble running a trainer.xex plugins are another complication, so a bit confusing) Read and understand what the trainer devs instructions are. My dev trainers dont require anything but run the trainer.xex. (many do differ). folder advice 90% of the time is save confusion and easier to diagnose issues and keep files organised. Place my dev trainers anywhere and once loaded into memory will be fine. The trainer folder structure above is good advice to save confusion. my experience only running my trainers
