NEED HELP EXTRACTING ISO FROM GAME DISK

    Hello i am new to iso and need some help. so i want to iso mod gta v with hotswapping and found out how to hot swap.

    From my understanding i do this.

    1.i extract the iso from my game disk
    2. i replace that common.rpf file with a modded one that i downloaded with backup creator.
    3. then i save and do the hotswap.

    If i am right so far how do i extract the iso from my gta v game disk.

    please help all help is highly appreciated ive been searching and trying to find out for about 2 hours

    I think you need an sort machine to do it like with the one you burn iso's well you just put your disc in to that thing you use as burner and also will need a couple of programs like abgx360,Imgburn to extract iso but if you really need to have it now than just type on google how to extract an xbox360 game into an iso with image burn im also going to make some videos but cant do it right now so yeah hope i helped u

    Yeah, you are correct in the process of replacing the modded file and re burning the ISO. If your ripping the disc on your PC, I bought I an exact make/model of DVD drive (don't remember which), and then had to flash the firmware for the drive to be unlocked for the ability to rip the ISO. I'm not sure if this is still current tech, so you probably would be best searching for the current process. I'm guessing your already using an LT+ system.

    ok so im going to get my xbox flashed tommorow and am ready but i guess i cant burn my retail disk so i have to download it. anyone have a link to a good clean copy of gta v play disk

    Your gonna need a specific burner capable of burning XDG3 games and a good brand of Disc's.
    95% of new games are XDG3
    XDG3 is 8.13 gigs so its not possible to burn to a disc correctly(the maximum capacity of a DL disc is 7.96 gigs ),unless you have a ihas burner. (or a burner capable of using the burner max payload)
    You cannot backup a Retail disc unless you have a Xbox 360 drive in your Pc with a special Firmware.
    There was a Schtrom360Xtract way.
    You can create a backup of a game already burnt to disc.

    If the GTA V is a original disc then you would need to rip the ISO using a xbox 360 drive with 0800 FW on which is the only way you can rip a original xbox 360 disc ;)
