hello Ok so this has got me stumped, how do i play the movies on my pc on my new x1. I have got the video app on the x1, ive added my x1 to my windows 8.1 devices, but no matter what i do i just cant see my videos on my x1 I guess it is real simple but i just cant work it out. can somebody help me please :sarcastic_hand:
I just spent like half an hour trying to do this then gave up and decided to check forum before i went to bed. Crazy coincidence. I tried quite a bit and had no luck. Maybe its a lie and somehow an unavailable feature atm.
This is not simple anymore; there are extensive threads on the xbox forks about this. In a nutshell, we're waiting for an update to make this workable. You cannot stream from a networked pc right now like you used to. You can push from the pc using DLNA but you'll have to use the pc do it. Wait for an update.
